Blue Note Logic, Incorporated

A noir-style desk scene — signed articles of incorporation, brass lamp, whiskey with a shamrock, Wyoming mountains through the window

There is a jazz standard called All the Things You Are. It is a song about potential — about what a thing could be before it fully becomes itself. On March 17, 2026, Blue Note Logic stopped being potential and became a fact. The articles of incorporation were filed. The state of Wyoming said yes. It happened to be St. Patrick's Day.

We'll take it.

Open for Business — Wyoming at night

Wyoming, of All Places

Wyoming is not a state that announces itself. No Fortune 500 headquarters. No professional sports franchises. Approximately 580,000 people spread across an area the size of the United Kingdom. What Wyoming does have is some of the most founder-friendly incorporation law in the United States.

No state income tax. No requirement for a physical presence in-state. Strong privacy protections — member names are not part of the public record. Simple formation. Fast filing. A legal environment designed, whether by intent or by accident, for companies built by small teams with global reach.

Blue Note Logic fits that description exactly.

What Blue Note Logic Is

The company did not spring from nowhere. It was built up gradually, project by project, across four platforms that are now its operating proof of concept:

Gilligan Tech — A Nordic AI software studio, incorporated under Norwegian law, building gtCMS and gtCRM. The AI tools you actually use, not the ones you demo once at a conference and abandon by Thursday. Gilligan Tech is the commercial front of the operation: the part that talks to clients, processes invoices, and ships software. gilligan.tech

Do Better Norge — A Norwegian-language civic AI project. A place to ask hard questions about what artificial intelligence means for Norwegian society, data sovereignty, and the public interest. Less startup, more public square. dobetternorge.no

Trivia & Tunes — An entertainment platform that demonstrates, cheerfully, that AI does not have to be serious. Live trivia rounds. Music game formats. A quiz host that is, frankly, better at this than most humans at 11pm on a Friday. triviaandtunes.no

Dave Gilligan — The founder's personal platform. The connective tissue between these projects. The place where the thinking is done in public, the long-form version of what the other sites compress into products. davegilligan.com

Each of these is a working system. Together they are the argument that Blue Note Logic has been making, quietly, for two years: that a small team with good taste and good tools can build things that last.

What This Unlocks

Incorporation is not a formality. It is an invitation to be taken seriously.

With Blue Note Logic Inc. properly constituted in Wyoming, the path opens to things that were technically possible before but practically awkward: accepting investment, issuing equity, entering formal partnership agreements, engaging enterprise clients under a recognized legal entity, and applying to startup programs — AWS Activate, Microsoft for Startups, Google for Startups Nordic — as a company, not a sole practitioner with a nice website.

The products are real. The infrastructure is real. Now the company is real too.

The Toast

On St. Patrick's Day, the tradition is a toast. So: to Wyoming, for keeping things simple. To the four platforms that proved the concept before the lawyers got involved. And to whatever gets built next.

Blue Note Logic, Incorporated.

The record is spinning.
